ITA Airways is Official Carrier of the 2024 ‘Italian Design Week’

The Airline Supports Italy’s Global Reach at Premier Event in Washington D.C.

ITA Airways, Italy’s reference airline, is proud to participate as the Official Carrier for the third edition of ‘Italian Design Week,’ the three-day event held in Washington D.C. through October 4, 2024.

Founded by entrepreneur Roberta Marcenaro Lyon, Italian Design Week serves as a vital platform connecting Italian companies with their U.S. subsidiaries, fostering strategic partnerships that strengthen Italy’s global competitiveness and unity. This annual event celebrates Italy’s leadership in design, innovation, and craftsmanship.

ITA Airways will be represented at the event by its Vice President of International Sales, Pierfrancesco Carino, who will also be a key participant in the panel “Longevity and Wellness: Designing for a Healthy Future“, as part of the summit program “Shaping the Future Through Authentic Collaboration”.

As the Official Carrier, ITA Airways is providing transportation for the guests attending the event, flying them from Rome Fiumicino’s Leonardo da Vinci airport to Washington Dulles International. This partnership further cements ITA Airways’ crucial role in bridging Italy and the United States—its largest international market. With 126 weekly roundtrip flights from Rome to major U.S. destination such as New York, Washington, Miami, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago, ITA Airways is committed to becoming the leading airline connecting the two Countries. Travelers flying through ITA Airways’ hub in Rome benefit from smooth connections to destinations across Europe and the Mediterranean.
